Talk – Rob Hopkins ‘From What Is to What If’

Rob Hopkins Keynsham

Rob Hopkins is the founder of the Transition movement and in this talk will outline the ideas and stories from his new book ‘From What Is to What If’.

The book asks “what if we lived in a time when the human imagination flourished and anything felt possible?” It asks what is the state of health of our collective imagination in 2019, and what would a concerted attempt to rebuild our collective imagination look like?

Packed with stories of schools, businesses, local governments and activism that put the cultivation of the imagination at their heart, this talk will fire your own imagination and give you tools to fire the imagination of those around you.

Rob is the co-founder of the Transition movement and author of several books including ‘The Transition Handbook’ and ‘The Power of Just Doing Stuff’.

He was voted one of The Independent’s top 100 environmentalists and one of NESTA’s ‘Britain’s 50 New Radicals’. He is a swimmer, a gardener, a public speaker, who sketches in his spare time.
